Jamaica… Who is really going to benefit from the legalisation of Marijuana??

So. According to The Gleaner Jamaica.

February 28th article.

Balram Vaswani, chairman of Kaya Inc and Ganja Labs USA LLC, is set to open the first of a series of Kaya Inc ganja stores in St Ann by March 10.

This, to me, comes as a huge slap in the face of Jamaican farmers, who for so many years toil the land with little to no profit..

Why is it that huge investors are being brought into Jamaica, to benefit from an industry that so many Jamaicans are already experts in?

There are a plethora of struggling farmers who would benefit greatly, if they were able to obtain a liscence to grow and sell Ganja legally. However obtaining a liscence may not be as easy at it seems & the mere fact that only 3 have been issued, shows that the requirements have been made difficult for the average Jamaican, therefore unattainable anyway..

Why is it that the people who vote for these governments to have power, are so blatantly having their opportunity, to benefit from such profitable ventures, given away?

All this talk of prosperity. But no average Jamaican is able to obtain a marijuana liscence?.

Does this not show that the government have no intention of giving the average Jamaican a chance to step out of their poverty?

Oh and no this is not a politically motivated post. Because if you really want to know I save all my support for the people of Jamaica, who love Jamaica, who have hope in Jamaica, who do not want handouts, but just want the opportunity to take care of themselves and their families.

When it really comes down to it though, promises are being made to the people, yet opportunities come and those opportunities are given to people who simply take those profits and reinvest in projects outside of Jamaica..

I am tired to see Jamaican people taken advantage of. I am tired to see the people who would benefit the most in Jamaica being overlooked because the government do not think they are worth investing in.

I am tired of seeing wasted entrepreneurial potential in Jamaica..

The people are becoming despondent. As crime, poverty & unemployment continues to rise, what is being done to help people become self sufficient?

Right now.. You know what will happen…??

The only way an average Jamaica will benefit from the legalization of Marijuana??

Original ganja farmers will be employed & paid minimum wage, to work the field of rich investors. They will be paid minumum wage to grow the best ganja on this planet. No better than slavery.. NO Better. I am angry..
